Brill, who arrived at WIVB three years ago from a 24-hour high school sports network, MSG/Varsity, decided to leave before Channel 4 had to decide whether to keep her when her contract expired in August.
With Brill's departure, only weekday sports anchor Steve Vesey is on the station's sports staff until her replacement is found.
